Australian Shopify plans and fees
Billed yearly, Basic is A$50 a month, Grow A$134 and Advanced A$519; billed monthly they are A$56, A$149 and A$575. Shopify Plus starts at A$3,700 a month on a 3-year term or A$4,000 on a 1-year term.
With Shopify Payments, online standard cards cost 1.7%, 1.55%, 1.35% and 1.15% on Basic, Grow, Advanced and Plus, each plus A$0.30 an order. Amex cards cost 2.9%, 2.8%, 2.7% and 2.6%, and international cards 3.5%, 3.4%, 3.3% and 3.2%.
With a third-party payment provider, Shopify adds 2%, 1%, 0.6% and 0.2% on the same plans, on top of that provider's own fees.
When Shopify Plus pays for itself
With standard cards and every sale through Shopify Payments, Plus on a 3-year term costs less than Advanced billed yearly above A$1,590,500 a month in online sales. Most brands upgrade earlier for Plus-only features, such as checkout extensions, more B2B catalogs and expansion stores.
